Tour du Ciel Haute Route – An Alpine Adventure from Zermatt to St. Luc
Location: Zermatt, Switzerland
Duration: 5 days
Level: Advanced ski tourers
Guiding: Professional mountain guide (max. 4 participants)
The Tour du Ciel takes you on an unforgettable journey through the heart of the Valais Alps – from Zermatt to St. Luc. Over five days, you will master alpine challenges, overcome technical sections, and stay in charming mountain huts that showcase authentic alpine hospitality. This tour is perfect for advanced ski mountaineers looking to elevate their mountain experience while enjoying the peace and charm of remote alpine refuges.
As your experienced mountain guide, I will lead you safely over glaciers, steep slopes, and demanding terrain. We place special emphasis on safety, technique, and the pure enjoyment of the alpine environment.
Why Choose the Tour du Ciel?
Stunning Nature: The Tour du Ciel takes you through some of the most breathtaking glacier landscapes in Switzerland. From Zermatt via Col Durand to Col de l’Omen, you’ll experience pure alpine magic with views that will take your breath away.
Technical Challenges: Crossing the sharp Arête Blanche, Col de Milon, and Col de l’Omen will put your skiing technique to the test. You’ll ski precisely and confidently on demanding terrain.
Traditional Mountain Huts: We stay in simple but cozy mountain huts away from the crowds (except for the Tracuit). These huts offer rest and a chance to experience authentic alpine life — far from luxury and comfort.
