Both summits are technically moderate yet high alpine, making this combined tour truly special: it combines authentic high-altitude mountaineering with fantastic views and a classic mountain hut evening at nearly 3,700 meters.

Tour Schedule for Mönch and Jungfrau Climb
Day 1 – Climb to Mönch
Meet in the morning at the Grindelwald Terminal (Eiger Express valley station). After a gear check, take the train via the Eigergletscher to the Jungfraujoch (3,454 m). Start your climb in high alpine terrain. Ascend Mönch (4,107 m) via the varied normal route (Southeast Ridge) – a thrilling mix of snow, rock, and exposed sections. Good surefootedness and concentration are essential.
Descend to the Mönchsjoch Hut for dinner and overnight stay with breathtaking mountain views.
Day 2 – Climb to Jungfrau
Climb the Jungfrau (4,158 m) – one of Switzerland’s most spectacular glacier climbs. Approach via wide glacier fields to the start at the Rottalsattel. Ascend the classic Jungfrau Normal Route, featuring a long snow slope and stunning views of the Aletsch Glacier and the Valais Alps.
Descend back to Jungfraujoch and return by train to Grindelwald.
