Gokyo Everest Trek – Journey Through the Himalayas
Everest Base Camp TrekkingGokyosee and Lobuche OstOptional Ama Dablam climb
Gokyo Everest Trek and 6000er Peak Climb with Swiss IFMGA Mountain Guide
Experience an unforgettable trekking expedition in Nepal – alpine, awe-inspiring, and professionally guided by a certified Swiss IFMGA mountain guide. This guided trek in the Khumbu region combines spectacular Himalayan scenery with the ascent of Lobuche East (6,119 m) – a technically moderate 6000-meter peak, ideal for strong trekkers looking to take the next step in high-altitude mountaineering.
The journey starts in Namche Bazaar, the vibrant heart of the Everest region. From there, we traverse the remote Renjo La Pass (5,360 m), explore the turquoise Gokyo Lakes, and cross the Cho La Pass (5,420 m) toward the legendary Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) and Kala Patthar (5,545 m) – one of the best panoramic viewpoints in the Himalayas.
The highlight of this trip is the climb of Lobuche East, a stunning 6000er offering breathtaking views and a solid alpine challenge. The summit ascent is included in the standard tour – no extra permits or fees required.
For advanced mountaineers, we offer an optional one-week extension to climb Ama Dablam (6,812 m) – one of the most iconic and beautiful peaks in the Himalayas. This legendary alpine climb is personally guided by your Swiss mountain expert.
